Between selling antique rugs online to help our customers decorate their homes and Mike's real estate job we don't have a whole lot of time to decorate our own home. Well, we finally got around to lighting our living room up and are so happy with the results (although we still haven't settled on a rug!). See our top 5 floor light picks below for decorating our Cape style home.
Our first pick is a fashionable tripod style floor lamp called Harper.
This is actually the lamp Mike and I decided on for our living room. This lamp delivers some serious light as you can see in the photo. The natural colored wood legs offer a clean appearance and paired with this antique Caucasian rug it looks scrumptious. More importantly, it earned the seal of approval from Tuffy.
Easy to Assemble
To Be Determined...
This lamp is super pretty, and the only real difference I noted was the lack of cross-over with the legs seen in Harper. I thought the cross-over delivered some needed character to our space but Emma was definitely a close runner up.
Luna is a really unique style floor lamp with an art-deco style vibe that I loved. Although this floor lamp would definitely be at home in a Cape-style home ultimately Mike and I agreed the tripod style was more our forte. We had visions of our little man knocking this beauty over with one of his swinging dance moves.
This lamp would look great with an art-deco style rug like a Nichols or Fette.
Montage Modern in Antique Brass fills me with warm vibes. This lamp would pair well with antique decor. This lamp is both sophisticated and affordable.
Lucas is a floor lamp with some nautical style flair. Although I could see this lamp at home in a home office I could also see it in a cape-style home with some Nautical elements.
