We have been listing rugs to the shop weekly, and sometimes more often. I will be listing a couple of antique Caucasian rugs this weekend so keep an eye out for those beauties.
One of my new favorites is this stunning vintage Melayer (2' 8 x 5'). The design features a unique all-over palmette pattern with curvilinear lines and leaves. Light pink and green highlights really pop from the deep blue field. See more photos >
This next rug is a pretty little Persian Lilihan who's field has evenly faded into a soft orange. Measuring 2' 3 x 4' 2 this beauty is perfect for an entryway, bathroom or kitchen spot. Check it out >
We don't usually deal in room-size rugs but when we saw this one it was love at first sight. This stunner has a soft wool pile with a dark blue field accented by the typical thick border observed in art-deco style Chinese carpets. Branching floral vines and garden butterflies tell a story of beauty. More details >
Below is an older Melayer with a traditional boteh design against a dark blue field. The pile is slightly thinner than a typical Persian rug making each intricate detail come alive. This one measures 4' 4 x 6' 5, More Details >
I'll finish this post off with a beautiful, finely woven Persian Jozan rug. Highlight colors and a bold pattern really pop against a rich red field. This rug has a solid wool pile and measures 2' 2 x 3' 3. Check it out >
