Baku rugs are a type of Caucasian rug named after the city of Baku. The majority of Baku rugs have a distinct pattern of large, rectilinear pear motifs throughout the field. The field is typically dark blue with cream, ivory and yellow highlights. These rugs are woven with Turkish knots.
